The Inland Navigators Bush Band was formed around 40 years ago during Dural Musical Society’s production of Reedy River. Two of the original members, Eric Pellinkhof and Greg Wilson, are still singing and playing traditional and contemporary Aussie ballads with the band at a huge variety of private, corporate and festival gigs. Lead singer and ‘lagophonist’, Eric explains, “In this anniversary year for the band, we decided to raise some much needed funds for drought relief. We also wanted to take the concert west, to hopefully bring some joy and good times to communities doing it tough. The launch of the tour was held in our shed. Friends and family enjoyed a history of Australia in song and generously donated $2500 to Rural Aid’s Buy a Bale.”
