On Sunday 27th October, the 5/6 Dolce Singers and 3/4 Giocoso Singers with Miss Rosolen, Mrs de la Harpe and Mrs Anderson, performed in Celebration Sing Out 2024!
This concert raises money for Westmead Children’s Hospital’s music therapy program. Since it began in 1993, it has raised over $1,000,000 to support the health and wellbeing of children.
The DPS choir students were part of a massed primary choir that included students from public and private schools. The primary choir then joined the secondary choir, adult choir and orchestra for a magnificent sound in the second half of the show.
The Dolce and Giocoso Singers beautifully represented Dural Public School and should be very proud of their effort in rehearsals this year as well as their outstanding performance in the concert.
