BROMELIAD SOCIETY OF AUSTRALIA

The Bromeliad Society of Australia will hold their next meeting at Federation Pavilion, Castle Hill Showground on Saturday, 2 March with plant sales commencing at 11am followed by the meeting at 12noon.

Access is via the Showground entrance off Showground Road into Doran Drive, Castle Hill, with plenty of parking on site.

As there isn’t a guest speaker planned for this meeting the Committee wanted to provide an opportunity for members and guests to being along their bromeliads for identification and advice on specific issues. Also what varieties of bromeliads prefer shade and others that tolerate and require morning sun to enhance their colour.

There will also be a practical demonstration on how to remove the pups from the mother plant, when to do this successfully and potting you new plant.
