PVF Masquerade Ball

Positive Vibes Foundation proudly presents the Windsor Road Private Clinic Moonlight Masquerade Ball

Positive Vibes Foundation aims to remove the stigma of mental illness by changing attitudes in the Community, making Connections with likeminded organisations, and through Conversations with individuals and groups. Our Masquerade Ball is an entertaining evening that brings together the Hills community to increase awareness of mental health

Our Masquerade Ball is an annual event held in October, in the Mental Health Month. This year it will be on 12 October 2018 at the beautiful garden side venue Biviano’s (628 Old Northern Road Dural), from 6.30 – 11.30 pm.

At each Masquerade Ball, we invite a prominent person in society who has overcome, or has had experience in dealing with mental illness, to be our keynote speaker. Their talk is inspirational and gives us an opportunity to hear their story. Past speakers have included Associate Professor Munjed Al Muderis (orthopaedic surgeon and human rights activist) and Deng T Adut (child soldier from Sudan to refugee lawyer).

Come hear and meet our keynote speaker for this year – Jake Edwards, an ex-AFL player and son of football legend Allan “Butch” Edwards, who was diagnosed with depression at the age of 19 while on an AFL list. When his career ended, he spent 4 years escaping his pain through drink, drugs and attempted suicide.

This will be a great event. Don’t miss out! Tickets are $150 per person. Book your place early on www. trybooking.com/
