I am encouraging residents to get into the community spirit this Australia Day and attend a local Flag Raising ceremony.
Australia Day Flag Raising Ceremonies will be held as follows
- Castle Hill Heritage Park, 8am by Castle Hill Rotary Club with a BBQ breakfast after the ceremony.
- John Benyon Rotary Park in Kenthurst, 9:30am by Kenthurst Rotary with morning tea afterwards.
- Annangrove Park, 11am by the Annangrove Progress Association with a BBQ after the ceremony.
- In addition to the three Australia Day Flag raising ceremonies above, a joint India Republic Day and Australia Day celebration will be held by The Community Foundation Of North Western Sydney at 8am at the Centenary of Anzac Reserve in Kellyville, with morning tea afterwards.
