I am grateful to all the leaders in our area who are working as volunteers to ensure our clubs, community groups and civic activities can all continue. In recent months I have had the pleasure of attending a fantastic range of community events and have been reminded again that we live in the best part of Australia!

Congratulations to Asquith Probus Club on your 14th birthday. Congratulations to all the netballers who participated in this year’s competitions in the Hornsby Kuring-gai district.

I was pleased to open the new play equipment at John Benyon Rotary Park in Kenthurst which received funding under the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities programme. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Kenthurst for spearheading the upgrade.

Congratulations to everyone at Normanhurst Uniting Church Musical Society for the great staging of “Songs That Go Like This”.
