Glenorie Community Carols will be on again in 2021. Last year the carols had to be cancelled last minute due to the lock down announced the day prior.
Instead, the band marched through the streets of Glenorie escorting Santa with carols, to hand out gift bags to the kids of our community. It was still a joyful time for the local families and the spirit of Christmas was not lost.
This year, in 2021, we will proceed with the community carols which have come to be loved by many. The carols are normally hosted by Glenorie RSL, but to allow distancing, the carols will instead be held at Glenorie Oval with plenty of space for everyone. Glenorie RSL will still generously support with flyers and printing the program.
The oval at Les Shore Reserve, Glenorie, offers the opportunity for attendees to bring their outdoor chairs, or picnic rugs and relax and enjoy the program. You are welcome to bring food and drink, or maybe a platter of your favourite antipasto. The program this year includes local singers and talent from the youth of our area. Of course, Glenorie RFS continues to provide transport for Santa to the event. Thank you Glenorie RFS.

When: 5:50PM Sunday 19th December 2021
Where: Les Shore Reserve, Glenorie
What to Bring: your outdoor chair or rug
