CWA Galston! We are so excited to let you know that we have won first prize in the Australian Seniors Insurance Agency competition against very worthy adversary Dural Men’s Shed. We are so grateful to Australian Seniors for such a generous prize. It has been very difficult to fundraise in the usual ways over the past year and $1000 will go a long way in our efforts to help and serve our community.
We also held our Mother’s Day Market Stall in April to great success. This was our first opportunity in a long while to get out and about, putting the hard work of all our branch members to a worthy cause.
A big, big thank you to all the wonderful locals who visited us at the stall and also to those who voted for CWA Galston at Australian Seniors in Castle Towers. Amoung the charities your support is helping are Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter, Hawkesbury Helping Hands, Share the Dignity, Sydney Wildlife, Winter Warmers and CWA of NSW disaster relief.
