It was a great compliment to the students, teachers and community of Arcadia Public School to be invited to host an international study tour in early November. We welcomed principals, teachers, and education officers from the Kangwon province of Korea as they sought insights into our highly regarded educational system. Our visitors enjoyed presentations by staff on policy and management, observations of quality teaching practices and, of course, some Arcadian hospitality from our parents. They were particularly interested in the student well – being programs that are such an important and successful feature of our small school. Captains, Matthew and Rose and vice captains Jack and Koda did an outstanding job, showing off their school and answering questions about the life of a student in NSW. There has been so much to be proud of at Arcadia PS throughout 2017. We’ll finish of the year with a whole lot of fun at our whole school picnic and wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas and New Year.
