We are thrilled to bring you some great news from Warrah Farm…..

New Faces in May
From Monday 1 May, local organic trader Common2Us will cease trading and its founder Borja Valls will join the Warrah Biodynamic Farm team in a newly created role as Enterprise Manager.

Borja will bring his knowledge and experience of the organic/biodynamic industry to benefit Warrah Farm’s trading, and will support the work of Warrah Farm Manager, Rob Greatholder. Why Biodynamic?
The biodynamic approach to agriculture has been developing for more than 90 years and has its origin in the work of Rudolf Steiner in the 1920’s. It is a system designed to create sustainable agriculture, that produces food for the body, soul and spirit. Soil fertility and plant health are enhanced by using naturally produced & subtly effective preparations made from cow manure, medicinal plants and minerals. The Biodynamic Farmer seeks to develop the farm as a whole, living organism, working out of a deep respect for the processes of life, the natural forces of growth, soil vitality and the holistic nature of plants and animals.

Originally established in 1969, Warrah Biodynamic Farm gained biodynamic certification in 1993, and we have maintained certification continuously since that time.
