It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Alan Clarkson, formerly of Halls Road, Arcadia. Alan and his wife Shirley had only just recently moved to Tea Gardens.
Alan was a committed volunteer and very community minded. He was a member of Galston Rotary for many years and also involved with the Shahzada horse endurance race at St Albans.
His funeral was held on 29th November at Castlebrook Crematorium followed by a wake at the Galston Club.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Our sincere condolences to his wife Shirley and his children Neil, Tracey, Craig and his partner Pru, and Fiona, and his grandchildren Cameron, Hayden, Oliver and Jessica.
