Transport for NSW is advising that from Monday 3 October, there will be rail closures because of Train Disruptions on the North Shore and Metro North West Lines to allow essential upgrade and maintenance work to be undertaken.
Here are the key points:
The T1 North Shore Line will be closed between Gordon and North Sydney for upgrade works from Monday 3 to Friday 7 October 2022. The line will be closed from Hornsby to Wynyard on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October 2022.
Trackwork will be carried out on the Metro North West Line between North Ryde and Chatswood from Monday 3 to Friday 7 October 2022, and from Tallawong to Chatswood on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October 2022.
Commuters who use these rail lines are encouraged to make alternative travel arrangements where possible and plan ahead as limited replacement bus services will be running.
