A reminder that native plant giveaways are back! We have scheduled five more of our native plant giveaway events at Warada Ngurang Community Nursery to take place in late October and November with the first event kicking off this tomorrow, 26 October.
Each residential property in Hornsby Shire is entitled to four free native plants per year. To pick up your plants, just book an appointment to visit the nursery and our friendly staff and volunteers will provide expert advice to assist you in selecting plants for your garden. There will be a variety of native shrubs, ground-covers and trees to choose from. The scheduled dates and times for the giveaways are:
- Wednesday 26 October from 9:30am to 3:30pm
- Saturday 29 October from 9:30am to 3:30pm
- Wednesday 2 November from 9:30am to 3:30pm
- Wednesday 9 November from 9:30am to 3:30pm
- Saturday 12 November from 9:30am to 3:30pm
Please note that there are limited spaces and due to the popularity of these events, it is essential to make an appointment.
