Two key messages have resonated as we launched into another fantastic year of learning at Arcadia Public School – Respect and Leadership. The year has just begun but students have been fortunate to enjoy listening to and working with powerful role models both in and outside their school environment. We’re extremely proud to announce our 2017 School Captains and Vice Captains – Rose, Matthew, Koda and Jack. We’re extremely proud to announce our 2017 School Captains and Vice Captains – Rose, Matthew, Koda and Jack. Our student leaders returned to school with strong messages about respect, leadership and what it means to be part of community as they attended the Hills / Dural leadership camp at Vision Valley.

In February, Arcadia Public School welcomed Parramatta Eels players Cameron King and Kirisome Auva’a who spoke to our students about being a team member and the importance of respect in the community. They were enthralled to have the athletes come and share their message of RESPECT for others….which, of course, neatly supports one of the cornerstone concepts of our Arcadian Way.

The cheering raised the roof at our 2017 Swimming carnival held at Galston Aquatic Centre in February. It was a great success. Congratulations to all the competitors and the very best of luck to our team who will represent their school at the upcoming Zone carnival.
