To keep our stores ticking away smoothly, we are blessed with groups of volunteers who come in on their chosen day to help sort and shelve donations.
Our focus team for this month is in Linen. The Manchester Maidens: Mary, Sue, Earlene and Ros spend countless hours every week going through all the donations, and putting out the very best for sale. Items include sheets, blankets, pillow cases, doona covers, quilts, towels, table cloths, cushions and olde worlde fancy lacework and d’oylies.
Please note that, by law, we cannot sell pillows, mattresses or electric blankets. Stained or torn items have to be discarded, so please be mindful of our disposal costs, and place these articles in your own bin.
We do accept sub standard towels and blankets, as these go into a large tub marked PETS, and are sold for a nominal amount.
As a thank you to the valued customers in both our stores, we will again be running a STOREWIDE HALF PRICE DAY on Thursday 29th June. Shoes, clothes, crockery, picture frames, sportsware, electrical, toys, linen, toys: everything will be half price. Our Dural store will open at 9am, and the Glenorie store at 9.30 am.
