This month we need the community’s feedback on more subjects than ever before! Council has been hard at work as we try and bring recommendations into reality on a number of issues. If you have an interest in any of the following, please think about making a contribution.
RURAL LAND REVIEW
Do you have an idea on how we continue to live and enjoy our rural environment while still ensuring our essential services remain relevant? Think about how as a community, we might support our schools, businesses, service providers, etc., through better planning…have your say!
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM STRATEGY
What are your views on business within the rural area? How do we combat the decline in wholesale production to farm direct? How best do we extract the maximum benefit from visitations to our region? Have your say!
EMPLOYMENT LANDS STRATEGY
Do we have enough jobs in the rural area? Do we have enough commercial space or rural activity required to support jobs? We would love to hear from you.
DRAFT WALKING AND CYCLING STRATEGY
Help us prepare the supporting infrastructure for these essential outdoor activities into the future.
