The Round Corner Dural Probus Club, known for its warm welcome and active social calendar, continues to attract new members and visitors seeking friendship, engagement, and a variety of interest-based activities.
This August, the club celebrated a significant milestone—its 14th anniversary. The occasion was marked during the monthly meeting with a special morning tea, where longstanding members noted with pride that many founding members remain actively involved.
In a departure from the usual program, the celebration featured an engaging “show and tell” presentation by a club member who showcased his passion for woodcraft. His display included intricate work involved in researching and constructing both a violin and a bass guitar, offering a unique insight into his creative process.
The club’s monthly outing also proved a highlight, with members enjoying an afternoon at The Hills Lodge. The entertainment for the day was provided by Radio Active, whose series of radio plays delivered a charming blend of nostalgia and light-hearted humour.
The Round Corner Dural Probus Club meets on the second Monday of each month at 9:30 am at The Galston Club.
