Recently Pacific Hills Christian School held its annual ‘100 Days of Kindy’ event.
As children entered the school dressed with sunnies, glam-rock hairdos and rock star attitudes, they were greeted to a day of celebration of their achievements and future stardom as young academics.
Families soon joined in the festivities which only added to the excitement. With a range of activities focusing on the number ‘100’, there were many games to be enjoyed like threading Fruit Loops and playing the classic Snakes and Ladders.
The excitement didn’t stop there at Pacific Hills. This Year’s 7 and 8 were gravitating towards their own exciting orbit – Science Week. These budding scientists were immersed in a world filled with complexities and curiosities, and all in the name of science. From liquid nitrogen ice-cream to racing propeller cars, this was truly an ‘out of this world’ day of learning and adventure.
Events like these are a good reminder of God’s goodness and wonder in all aspects of our lives and the world around us.
