The Castle Hill Art Society is preparing to open its long-running Orange Blossom Festival Annual Arts Awards and Exhibition, a community tradition now in its 56th year.
The exhibition will run from 11–14 September at the Castle Glen Community Centre on Ridgecrop Drive, Castle Hill, offering visitors free entry from 9am to 4pm daily.
Hundreds of artworks created by local artists will be on display, all available for purchase. Organisers say the exhibition is an ideal opportunity for visitors to discover unique pieces—whether as early Christmas gifts, personal keepsakes, or something special for a loved one. A dedicated Children’s Exhibition will follow on 20 September, showcasing work from the region’s youngest emerging artists.
The annual awards also mark a popular time for new members to join the Castle Hill Art Society. The organisation offers a broad program of classes and workshops across all media for adults, as well as after-school and Saturday classes for children.
Monthly art demonstration evenings, led by well-known Australian artists, are held on the first Wednesday of each month and are open to both members and visitors.
