Then why not nominate them for a 2025 Hills Shire Council Australia Day award? These awards are about acknowledging the selfless individuals and community groups help make the Hills a more connected, vibrant and inclusive community.
The awards are presented in five categories:- Citizen of the Year
- Senior Citizen of the Year (over 65)
- Young Citizen of the Year (24 and under)
- Environmental Citizen of the Year
- Community Group of the Year
Nominees must be residents of The Hills Shire Local Government Area (LGA) and must have made a positive impact on The Hills Shire community over the past year.
Finalists of the 2025 awards will be announced in the lead up to Australia Day 2025.
