Thank you to the Rotary Club of Dural and Leanne Hall, an experienced psychologist and well-known media identity, for a fascinating and informative presentation and question time on how we can all build resilience, and how we can help to build resilience in our own children. The presentation was well-attended by parents from Galston High School as well as our community of schools.
Internationally renowned author and Children’s Laureate for 2018- 2019 – Morris Gleitzman – visited our library to share the secrets to his creative writing process and answer questions on some of his most popular books. The 130 Galston students who were joined by 20 primary students from the Galston Community of Schools, were captivated by Morris’ speech and were able to have personal copies of his books signed.
