Residents at Rowland Village will be able to get around in a new set of wheels thanks to Member for Hornsby Matt Kean MP.
Mr Kean delivered a cheque for $14,000 to the residents of Rowland Village who will use the money to purchase a 6 seater people cart.
“These types of vehicles are necessary to help the residents at Rowland Village get around more easily,” Mr Kean said.
“I am pleased to be able to assist them with the purchase of the people mover cart and hopefully it helps them get out and about more often,” he said.
Rowland Village is one of a number of community organisations who have benefitted from the funds from Mr Kean through the Community Building Partnership Program.
“This is just one way that I can assist our community to be able to have the best possible facilities available to them,” Mr Kean said.
