The much-anticipated upgraded Brickpit Park Playground at Thornleigh, is nearing completion and is set to open on December 11th at 10 AM, just in time for the school holidays!
This exciting new playground offers a variety of play options for children of all ages and abilities.
The upgraded features include an embankment play area with a slide, inclusive play equipment, a junior water play area, a junior Ninja Warrior course, shade sails over the slide and water play area, picnic shelters, a fully fenced playground, and accessible grade pathways. The existing flying fox, swings, and climbing net have been retained in their original locations.
This project was made possible through joint funding from the NSW Government’s ‘Places to Play Grant’ and Hornsby Shire Council. Get ready to race your friends to the new playground and experience the fun!
