The Aurecon Group, as contractor building the proposed NBN Tower, is holding a community briefing as per the following advice from them:
NBN understands from early submissions received that there is both anxiety among some people in the community regarding the proposed fixed wireless facility at 7 Vision Valley Rd servicing rural residential Arcadia, and interest in improved broadband connectivity in this area. Stakeholder Meeting – Wednesday 6 December 2017
NBN is pleased to invite submitters to a Stakeholder Information Session on Wednesday 6 December, 2017 at the Arcadia Hall.
Submitters are welcome to drop in any time between 5pm and 7pm to address your concerns and inquiries to the fixed wireless team.
We would be pleased to discuss the proposal face to face with local residents. We appreciate that this is a very busy time of year for many people, and we have sought to arrange this Stakeholder Session as quickly as possible.
We also appreciate that the submissions deadline was originally advertised as 5 December 2017, and in light of the 6 December session, we are pleased to advise that NBN will extend the deadline for submissions by one week, to 12 December 2017, to allow people to participate in the session and consider the extra information before making their submissions.
We look forward to meeting interested residents on 6 December.
