As mainstream primary school we have leapt into the top rankings of local schools ahead of similar schools’ groups and private institutions.
Our Years 3 and 5 students have once again excelled in NAPLAN, performing well above State and national averages. Theses exceptional results in NAPLAN 2025 are the product of outstanding professionalism, commitment, and care that our Administration team, teaching, and school support staff have demonstrated in working with our students and families this year.
This student data adds to the suite of information our teachers collect to plan effective and targeted learning programs. With small classes, this attention to individual needs can impact significantly on learning outcomes. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our teachers, who have continually gone above and beyond to ensure our students receive the best education possible. Their passion for teaching and willingness to support every student has been truly inspiring.
We are delighted to see the significant improvement in English and Mathematics scores, which reflects the collaborative effort of our teachers and students working together to achieve their best. At Galston, we do not teach programs designed to improve NAPLAN results. Our programs provide rich, deep learning across a broad curriculum. They encourage collaboration and teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, imagination and creativity. Obviously engaged, switched on children who enjoy school perform well!
KINDERGARTEN 2026
If you or anyone you know has children who will be enrolling in Kindergarten in 2026, we are now accepting enrolment enquiries, applications and completed enrolment forms! As Galston Public School is currently beneath our enrolment cap, priority will be given to students from our local drawing area.
At this stage, we are also able to accept siblings of students who currently attend our school and live out of area as well as consider out of area applications on a case-by-case basis and depending on current enrolment numbers.
