Kidsafe Australia is excited to announce the return of the National Playspace Design Awards in 2025. Since our last celebration of great places to play in 2020, many more playgrounds and playspaces have been created across Australia and Kidsafe wants to publicly recognise excellence, innovation, inclusivity and most importantly community involvement.
These inspirational playspaces encourage healthy participation in recreational activities for children across the nation.
This year Kidsafe Australia wants to acknowledge the importance of community engagement and their innovative approaches to embracing risky and challenging play whilst integrating the use of sustainable resources.
‘A child’s right to play’ (United National Convention’s Article 31) ‘I am learning through play for I will make a difference one day’
