Pacific Hills Christian School has partnered with the Kids with Cancer Foundation to give students a rare insight into the organisation’s ongoing efforts to support young patients and their families.
Students recently rolled up their sleeves to help assemble 100 Care Packs — thoughtfully curated bundles designed to provide comfort, distraction, and a touch of cheer for children undergoing treatment. The initiative offered students a hands-on understanding of how community support can make a meaningful difference during what is often a long and emotional journey for families.
The Foundation, which has delivered close to 6,000 Care Packs to children across seven hospitals in Australia during the 2025 financial year, continues to expand its reach through practical, child-focused programs.
Service is a central theme at Pacific Hills this year, inspired by the concept of Hesed — a Hebrew term often translated as “loving-kindness” and embraced by the school as a call to extend compassion beyond simple acts of goodwill.
School leaders say the partnership offered students a tangible way to live out this value while contributing to the wellbeing of children facing extraordinary challenges.
Pacific Hills Christian School expressed its appreciation for the opportunity to support the Kids with Cancer Foundation and acknowledged the vital work the organisation continues to deliver to families in need across the country.
