Twelve year old Jasmine Cook of Galston Public School has had a very successful year in Show Jumping, riding her Pony, Sherbet Wizz Fizz.
In April they competed at the 2023 NSW Interschool Championship representing GPS, where they competed over two days.
They were awarded Primary Schools State Show Jumping Champion in both the 80 & 90cm Primary School classes.
Jasmine and Sherbet then travelled to Melbourne in October to compete at the 2023 Marcus Oldham Australian Interschool Championship representing NSW where she won:
- 90cm Primary Interschool Show jumping Australian Champion
- 80cm Primary Interschool Show jumping Australian Reserve Champion
- Primary Interschool Show jumping Team Champion
- Highest point score in Team NSW
Jasmine also recently competed at the Pony Club State Show jumping Championships where she was awarded:
- U13 YRS B Grade State Show jumping Champion
- Team of 4 Highest point Score of the Zones
While they were in Melbourne they competed at the 202 Petstock Pony Club Australia Nationals which saw the team again taking the Pony Club Australian National Championship title in the Sub Jnr category.
