Local photographers in The Hills Shire are invited to submit their best shots in the “Hills Through Your Lens” photo competition, a unique opportunity to display the region’s beauty and creativity through photography.
This contest will feature selected images from the 2027 Waste and Recycling Calendar, capturing the area’s charm and character.
The competition is designed to encourage residents, whether experienced or budding photographers, to highlight the natural landscapes that make The Hills special. A total of 13 photos will be chosen, including one cover shot that will not only adorn the front of the calendar but also earn its photographer a $100 gift card.
Each monthly winner will receive a $50 gift card as a token of appreciation for their contributions. Photographers are reminded that submissions must be landscape-focused, taken within the Shire, and devoid of people.
The official entry period runs from April 1 to June 30, 2026, welcoming the community to participate in this celebration of local love.
