Connections and Patterns
Early this year my Mum and I realised this would be a ” Special Year ” for our family in that she would turn 88 and and my younger brother 44. We thought that rather ‘cool’ to consider as this would never again occur or be possible that he would be half her age.
Well, one week ago it was Mum’s 66th Wedding Anniversary, another double figure. So then I started thinking further of double numbers in our family in this year, 2017 ….. my family and I are amazed by how many there are.
11 years – my brother’s daughter is 11 for most of the year (which is 1/2 my son’s age)
22 years – my youngest son’s age (1/2 my brothers age)
33 years – my oldest son and his fiancé were both 33 until their birthdays.
44 years – my brother’s age (1/2 my Mum’s age )
55 years – a close cousin has his 55th birthday in September
66 years – my parent’s Wedding Anniversary was in late August.
88 years – Mum’s Birthday is in September.
99 years – a special Aunt in our family turned 99 in June.
My niece was delighted when I explained this so straightway she did the calculation and realised that we only needed 77.
Even though we couldn’t find a link to 77 in our family it doesn’t diminish how amazing and wonderful it has been to discover these connections and patterns. It’s funny what can inspire us ! Contributed by a Galston resident
The Meaning of repeat numbers
Although this piece about repeating numbers isn’t necessarily sending any special message as they are randomly distributed throughout the family I thought that I would research repeated numbers and what their meaning is in the mystical world.
Repeating numbers are a reminder that something very magical and divine is happening in your life. So if you are seeing a certain number sequence over and over again, make a note of it. There definitely could be a meaning behind it.
111 – Look around and really pay attention to where you are and who you’re with. This is a confirmation that you’re moving in the right direction
222 – Two is the number of partnership and relationships. When you see 2’s, pay attention to the people who are showing up in your world.
333 – The appearance of 3’s could be a confirmation that you’re hitting it on all three levels and really in the zone. You may feel insanely fulfilled by life when you start seeing those repeating 3’s.
444 – Home base calling.Your inner circle could use your attention.
555 – Change is in the air when you see repeated 5’s. Like a fast moving current or a gentle breeze, there is momentum to move in a new direction.
666 – Brings the guidance to listen to your heart not your head.
777 – You are on the right track towards manifesting your dreams and goals into reality.
888 – Seeing multiple 8’s is a call to bring greater balance into all areas of your life including home, work, lifestyle, healing and relationships.
999 – Signifies completion or passage of time. It could refer to completing a project, shifting careers, or giving up an outdated way of thinking.
000 – The cycle of life and thought starts anew. This represents a brand new beginning in a plan, project, or course of life. Follow this path

Jersey Day
On Friday the 1st of September, the Round Corner Dental team proudly donned our favourite sports jerseys for the day to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation.
The JERSEY DAY campaign is inspired by the story of the Gremmo family who tragically lost their 13-year-old son Nathan in a traffic accident on Glenhaven Rd in 2015. Six lives were saved through Nathan’s gift of life. His family established this Jersey Day to honour his legacy, and to urge Australians to have those important conversations with family and loved ones and register as an organ donor online.
Around 1,500 Australians are on waiting lists for life-saving organ donations at any one time. One organ donor can save up to 10 lives, and Australia is a world leader for successful transplant outcomes.
Ray Hadley, Turia Pitt, the Wiggles, the Queensland Police Force and even our own Prime Minister have joined the campaign, among countless other schools, businesses and organisations across the country.
Please visit www.donatelife.gov.au to register, and for more information on how you can help save a life.
Keith Hobson
Final goodbyes take many forms and at the memorial service for Keith Hobson it was the empty coffin in the room which stirred the memories and lightened the spirits of those who came to remember a larrikin whose life was well lived.
Keith had made his own coffin and even though it was lined with images and snap shots from his life he was destined for a more giving end. To quote Ingrid, his daughter, “ Dad’s morbid sense of humour was the order of the day. Even after he’s gone his self made coffin (which we no longer need) had all us of us laughing. He had donated his body to science at Sydney University. So dad, enjoy Uni life for the first time in your life.”
Congratulations to Carla and Chris
Chris surprised Carla by asking her to marry him on their trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Carla accepted! How exciting.
Helping make the Orange Blossom Festival Great
HF Event Services has been very busy these past few weeks spreading their own kind of magic. They love what they do because on a mass scale they get to make many people happy. One of their recent highlights was The Orange Blossom Festival for Hills Shire Council. HF Events Services assisted Council by designing a special “Sonet et Lumiere” (sound and lightshow) for the past Mayor of Hills Council, held at Bella Vista Farm’s historic Homestead. Over 200 VIPs enjoyed “Luminosity”, a special event held the evening prior to the commencement of the Orange Blossom Festival.
Over 14,000 people passed through the gates for this annual event which is now in it’s 47th year. HF Events Services were contracted to provide live production on the Bella Vista Farm Community stage for local entertainment groups, with the highlight being a performance by legendary country artist Lee Kernaghan followed. The evening was concluded with a crowd favourite of fireworks from Howard and Sons.
