With only several weeks away before the gates open, tickets for the most-awaited Hawkesbury Show 2024 are now on sale, and early bird specials are still available.
Running from Friday, 19 April to Sunday, 21 April 2024, the Hawkesbury Show will offer many free activities, amenities, spectacles, celebrations, and entertainment. It runs on its motto, “Where country meets city,” featuring different livestock and animals such as cattle, alpacas, donkeys, sheep, and poultry.
Now in its 137th year, it is one of the biggest agricultural events in the state, along with the Sydney Royal Easter Show. It offers a wide range of agricultural and produced goods, such as preserves, on display. Kids can enjoy a variety of rides, a LEGO exhibition, and carnival games.
The Hawkesbury District Agricultural Association (HDAA), the Show’s organizer, mentioned what to expect: “From stunning fireworks to exhilarating rides and a spectacular celebration of Australian cultural and rural traditions, there’s three days of entertainment, activities and competitions to satisfy the whole family.”
Businesses will not be in short supply like in previous Hawkesbury Shows, with at least 200 stalls gearing up to showcase different local goodies, wares, and services. There will also be crafts, arts, lapidary, and more.
Matty Mingay and the Hot Wheels Stunt Team are one of many attractions and spectacles to grace the Hawkesbury Showground next month. The awaited Fireworks display will top off the festivities on Friday and Saturday evening.
Early bird tickets are still available: $26 for one Adult, $16 for a Child (5-17 years old), and Concession. Children under 5 are free. A family of two adults and two children (5-17 years old) can avail themselves of a discounted ticket for $70.
Tickets can be purchased online via 123 Tix: 2024 Hawkesbury Show
More than 15 registrations and schedules for competition categories (such as photography, tapestry, hoof and hook competition, crochet and more) are also available online via Showday: 2024 Hawkesbury Show. Most entries will close within the first few weeks of April.
