Grow and maintain a healthy garden by picking up some gardening material at Hornsby Shire Council’s Chipping for Mulch Days.
Bring along your garden branches and clippings that don’t fit in your green bin to be chipped into mulch.
You can also take home free mulch even if you haven’t brought any branches to be chipped.
A garden that has mulch is healthier, has fewer weeds and will save you time on watering and weeding.
Please bring a shovel and bags or containers to load your car with free mulch, or Council can help load your ute or trailer with our Kanga loader.
The service is free to all Hornsby Shire residents. Certain weed species cannot be accepted by Council.
