Unfortunately, Council is still experiencing some delays in providing our green waste collections. They’re still unable to access our normal red lid garbage disposal facility near Goulburn, so their trucks continue to drive the Shire’s garbage to the Central Coast.
As this takes longer than driving to Clyde for rail transfer, Still need to use our green waste trucks to maintain our priority red lid collections.
With green waste collections starting much later in the day, delays in servicing green bins are expected until Friday. They couldn’t get to Dural, Galston, Arcadia and Glenorie today. Green waste in these areas may not be collected until this Saturday, 19 March.
Council asks all residents with missed green waste collections to leave the bins kerbside. Council’s collection contractor Cleanaway will service them as soon as possible, including on Saturdays where needed. (All green waste is sent to Kimbriki for composting)
