The only thing brighter than the sun shining on Grandparents Day was the beautiful smiles of our special visitors and students.
This year’s Education Week theme, “Ignite Your Potential,” celebrates the spark within every student; the curiosity, creativity, and drive that fuels lifelong learning. The theme resonated throughout the day as students showcased their unique talents and abilities.
Glenorie Public School is committed to nurturing each child’s unique strengths. These strengths were on full display in our classrooms, dance groups, choir and assembly items highlighting the powerful role education plays in unlocking potential and shaping the future.
The day also featured a special tribute to grandparents, who play an essential role in the lives of the students. Acknowledging their contributions, Mrs Rebecca Wallace, Principal, remarked “Grandparents are like living storybooks, rich with memories and wisdom. Your presence here today enriches our students’ school journey, and we are truly thankful.”
The Glenorie Public School Education Week Open Day was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and celebration of learning that will resonate with students and families for years to come. A big thank you to our special guests for joining us. We are so glad you could come!
