Glenorie Rural Fire Brigade team has been extremely busy during the last couple of months, following a fire burning in difficult terrain off Niech and Smallwood Roads in December 2024 and then storms in January 2025.
There were trees down on power lines, wires arcing and motor vehicle accidents, amongst other things.
We would like to say a big thank you to all our volunteer members at Glenorie Rural Fire Brigade who pitched in, and helped assist our community during these challenging times. Teamwork makes the dream work!
We are always looking for new members to join Glenorie Brigade and we have a wide variety of roles available from firefighting, catering and administration roles.
If you are interested in joining our brigade, contact us via our Facebook page or simply come to the brigade for a chat when we are open. The station is open Mondays at 7:30 pm and Saturdays at 2:00 pm.
