Congratulations Darren Dodd
Born and bred in Glenorie, Darren Dodd is a true local through and through. Darren has lived in Glenorie his whole life; he runs a family-owned business and is married with two children, one of whom is a member of GRFB.
Darren Dodd joined Glenorie Rural Fire Brigade six years ago and is an exceptionally active member of the brigade and highly committed to serving the community. In addition to being the Equipment Coordinator and Driving Coordinator, as of this year, he is now a Deputy Captain.
During the devastating 2019/2020 bushfire season, Darren made a significant contribution and has been awarded the National Emergency Medal for his efforts. This is an extraordinary achievement, and we would like to say congratulations to Darren, and a heartfelt thank you for all the time, energy and hard work he dedicated to helping protect his community.
