On Tuesday 13th June, Glenorie Public School was lucky enough to have the GWS Giants come in to present us with a Fizzics Education Program. It extended our learning but we also had lots and lots of fun throughout the whole session. Stage 1 learnt all about how objects move and stage 2 and 3 learnt all about electricity. The most favourite object was the smoke bin. Holly filled the bin with smoke and hit the end of the bin, that created a replicating vortex. Overall, this incursion was an enjoyable day for all students. Thank you to the GWS Giants and Fizzics Education for this amazing experience.
Our stage 3 students were given this wonderful opportunity to attend the special primary schools matinee performance of the popular musical ‘Grease’, performed by the students at Galston High School on Tuesday 25th July. Every student in stage 3 thought this was an amazing performance and can’t wait for the next one. Thank you Galston High School for giving stage 3 this exciting opportunity.
We thoroughly enjoyed our athletics carnival and were impressed by the amazing talent of all our students. Congratulations to those students who made it to the next round in both track and field. A huge achievement!
