Glenorie Probus Club Activities 2025

Glenorie Probus Club finished 2024 on a high note with wide range of activities and speakers during the year. The final event for the year was a very enjoyable Christmas Party.

This started with the traditional trivia quiz which keeps all thinking. As well as an excellent meal the members were again entertained by Santa Clause. An excellent way to finish the clubs year.

The club has commenced the year with a lunch in January during which members Christmas activities and the year ahead was discussed. The program for the year will commence in February when the Club will under take a day tour of the Australia National Maritime Museum in Sydney which is a place of interest to all members.

The guest speaker at the Clubs meeting in February will be Mr Ralph Short from the Dubbo Support Group of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. This talk will cover both the activities and needs of this very important service in regional areas and how the support group assists.

The club has planned a wide variety of activities for the year including a day trips to interesting nearby sites. These include Warra School and Biodynamic Farm, the central coast and the Blue Mountains including the newly reopened Zig Zag railway.

Overnight stays to attractions further away are also being planned. Together with a wide range of interesting speakers it promises to be another exciting year for the club.

The Club meets on the at 11.00am on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Glenorie RSL and new members are welcome.
