GALSTON NETBALL CLUB primarily fields teams in the Hills District Netball Association winter competition which runs from April to September. So, whilst we are now officially in the off-season, this is not the case for many of our players. Registrations will be opening for the summer comp shortly which some of our senior teams have entered in prior years, we wish them all the best. Also, the club was fortunate to have 13 girls selected at various age groups for the Hills District representative teams. During 2018, these girls trained up to twice a week and competed in regional gala days throughout the year. All girls performed well and came back to our club even stronger players. We are proud of all the girls who were selected with a special mention going to Amelia, Charli, Chelsie and Victoria-Rose who received individual awards for their outstanding contributions.
Training for the 2019 representative season has just started and congratulations goes to all girls who have been selected again, and to those who have been selected for the first time. We wish you all the best and know you will do our club proud.
