Acne vulgaris
A condition affecting both teens and adults, Acne vulgaris is often unresponsive to commonly prescribed antibiotic therapy. A 15 year old female presented with acne on her cheeks at an initial visit to the clinic. She was unresponsive to oral antibiotics and topical treatment had burned and irritated her skin. After 3 months of prescribed complementary medicine only red marks remained which continued to fade.
