Bendigo Bank Supports Local Artists

Preparations for this year’s Arcadian Artists Exhibition & Art Trail are vigorously underway. As always the Exhibition weekend will fall on the second weekend in November, this year being the 12th & 13th November 2016. And it is with great appreciation that the Arcadian Artists wish to acknowledge & extend an enormous thank you to the
Galston District Community Bank Branch of the Bendigo Bank for its ongoing & generous support.

With the assigned sponsorship funds the Arcadian Artists will strive to maintain & continue to foster an appreciation of the arts amongst the local community & beyond. The Arcadian Artists Exhibition & Art Trail provides a unique platform to showcase the local area’s artistic talents to the wider community. The hundreds of visitors who follow the art trail each & every year is a testament to this. It has become a much anticipated annual event on the community calendar.

Furthermore in having the participating venues linked by a leisurely country drive it enables visitors to experience the beauty that surrounds & inspires many of the talented artists that reside in the district.

What began as a small group of local artists opening their studios to the local community has expanded to include eight venues throughout Dural, Galston, Arcadia & Berrilee with over fifty talented artists displaying an eclectic array of artwork. Visitors are encouraged to meet the artists & discuss their artworks.

To further assist visitors on the weekend of the event an information stand will be set up outside the Bendigo Bank of Galston where maps & artists’ profiles can be collected. So don’t forget to set aside the 12th & 13th November 2016 in your diaries & partake in this wonderful event. Bring along your family & friends for what is sure to be an inspirational & highly enjoyable cultural experience for all who attend.
