The Galston branch of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) of New South Wales is making a mark with its fundraising efforts, combining community spirit with a passion for handmade crafts. Under the leadership of President Anne Chartorisky, the branch meets every second and fourth Wednesday at the Galston Health and Community Centre.
Members dedicate their time to creating knitted items, handmade goods, and delicious relishes and jams. These products are sold at local stalls, with proceeds supporting both local and national charities. Anne’s guidance ensures the group remains motivated, inspired, and focused on making a meaningful impact in their community.
The branch will be hosting a stall outside Bendigo Bank on Saturday, November 22, from 9 am to 1 pm, offering an array of handmade goods. Locals are encouraged to drop by, browse the items, and support the branch’s charitable initiatives.
