As the longer, sun-drenched days of October roll in, the Galston branch of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) is already in festive mode, crafting delightful Christmas gifts for the local community. From homemade baked goods, jams, and relishes to handcrafted trinkets, their offerings are designed to tempt tastebuds and spread cheer this holiday season.
Shoppers will have two opportunities to visit the CWA’s stalls before Christmas. The first will be at Rowland Village, 301 Galston Road, on Saturday 8th November 2025 from 10am to 2pm. The second will be outside the Bendigo Bank at 348 Galston Road on Saturday 22nd November 2025, from 9am to 2pm.
The Galston CWA relies on the generous support of the local community to raise funds for those in need. Donations of fruits and vegetables for their preserves are always welcome, helping members turn local produce into delicious jams, relishes, and other homemade treats.
The association meets twice monthly, on the second and fourth Wednesday, at the Galston Health and Community Centre, 17 Arcadia Road. New members are warmly welcomed, with opportunities to join a community devoted to giving back, sharing skills, and celebrating Australian tradition.
