The Galston Concerts program planner Robert Harris enjoys ‘spreading the word’ to Hills and Hawkesbury residents.
“We want to be sure that audience numbers continue to grow so we’re always happy to meet with local groups to share the news of future concerts.”
“The next concert on 10 September presents WorldWinds, a program for flute, bassoon and piano with music by Beethoven, French composers and a clever narrated story-in-music.”
The final program on 5 November will have a piano focus with Tonya Lemoh playing ‘Top 10 or 20’ familiar Classics.
A pipe organ prelude at 1.30pm, a pre-concert talk before the 2 till 3ish main concert and post-concert afternoon teas make for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
Advance bookings on trybooking.com are available in the month prior to every concert – just search Galston and each date. Tickets can also be requested via the Galston Uniting Church office on 9653 2039 for ‘pickup-&-pay on the day’.
