As your newly elected Member for Hornsby, I, James Wallace, am deeply humbled to have received the trust and support of the community. It is a privilege to represent you.
The Hornsby electorate is such a special place. It has a rich history, strong sense of community, great schools, and incredible natural beauty.
I will advocate for the infrastructure we need to support a growing community. This means upgrades to our roads, schools and health care. I will support efforts to rejuvenate the Pacific Highway and New Line Road, as well as improve the quality of our sporting facilities.
I will work to strengthen our community by helping residents and community groups navigate the complexity of government and by supporting further improvements to our local area.
As your representative in State Parliament, I hope to play a role in advancing forward thinking policies when it comes to the financial management of our State, the education of our kids and the challenges facing our community.
I pay special tribute to my predecessor, Matt Kean, who did an extraordinary job as our local MP. I will work tirelessly to build upon his legacy, to ensure Hornsby remains the very best place to live, work and raise a family.

I am particularly keen to engage with those not typically interested in politics and those who don’t feel seen by politicians. As much as anyone, you deserve a voice.
Personally, this has been a very exciting time for me and my family. Sarah and I are both balancing work and raising our two-year-old son Ben. Ben has loved going out to the recent school fetes and other community events.
