
A free school holiday activities offering sport, technology and arts workshops will be delivered across The Hills Shire this April, targeting children and young people from primary to late secondary school age.
The initiative includes a series of structured sessions aimed at promoting physical activity, creative development and digital skills, while remaining accessible to families facing increasing living costs.
Among the scheduled events is a cricket workshop at Balmoral Road Reserve in Kellyville on 9 April, followed by a technology-focused Roblox game development session at Rouse Hill Town Centre on 10 April.
An art workshop at Vinegar Hill Community Centre on 13 April will provide participants with the opportunity to work across multiple mediums, while also exploring the role of creative activities in supporting mental wellbeing.
The program will conclude with an NRL League Stars clinic on 15 April at the Parramatta Eels Centre of Excellence, where participants will engage in skills training and game-based activities.
The Autumn School Holiday Program is funded through a partnership between The Hills Shire Council and the Department of Communities and Justice, with registrations available via the council’s website.
