Members of the Ferry Artists collective will take part in Hornsby Shire Council Seniors Week exhibition, Live Life in Colour, at Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre from March 6 to 22.
The exhibition brings together artists from across the region, showcasing painting, mixed media and other visual art forms in a celebration of creativity later in life. The Ferry Artists’ involvement reflects the group’s long-standing connection to the Hornsby community and its commitment to exhibiting alongside fellow local art societies.
Throughout the two-week exhibition, participating artists will be present on a rostered basis, offering visitors the opportunity to learn more about the works on display and the processes behind them.
Beyond Seniors Week, the collective continues its regular presence at the St Albans Village Markets. On Easter Sunday, April 5, the group will return to The Barn from 9 am to 1 pm, presenting a selection of giftware, jewellery and original artworks. The markets remain a cornerstone of the group’s community engagement, providing a relaxed setting in which visitors can meet artists and purchase locally made pieces.
Now marking 25 years of activity, the Ferry Artists maintain a steady program of exhibitions and market appearances throughout the year.
