Round Corner Dural Probus Club Invites New Members

The Round Corner Dural Probus Club is proving that retirement doesn’t have to mean slowing down. With a calendar full of engaging guest speakers, social outings, and opportunities to meet like-minded people, the club offers something for everyone. Regular meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 9:30 am at The Galston Club.

This September, while the weather put a temporary pause on the club’s planned barefoot bowls activity, members didn’t miss a beat, gathering instead for a convivial lunch at the Dural Club or an elegant High Tea at The Centre. Many also took the opportunity to pack their bags for a “Life of Riley” holiday, exploring the picturesque Jindabyne region.

The month’s guest speaker, Dale Anne Clark, captivated members with her presentation, The Magic of the Mind: Memory Mastery. Attendees enjoyed interactive memory exercises and picked up practical tips for boosting cognitive skills—all delivered with a dose of humour and charm.

The club welcomes visitors keen to join in the fun and discover what makes Probus life so rewarding.
