Pat Bugden, Mark Tremain and Kishore Rampersad emerged worthy winners of the first final of the year at Dural Bowling Club on Saturday, February 14, in overcast and rainy conditions.
They defeated the team of Glen Davey, Brian Stevens and Henri Chan in the final.

The Dural team had a bye for the opening game of the 2026 Open Pennants season, which began on February 14.
To prepare for the event, coaching and skills development sessions took place on Friday afternoons with a number of prospective Pennant bowlers in attendance. The bowlers took the opportunities in these sessions to develop skills that would help them in inter-club competition.
A Pennant Trial match against the Rosehill Bowling Club side took place on February 7. Dural and Rosehill Pennant managers have decided to make this an annual event, and both sides are looking forward to this arrangement benefitting both sides.
