About 9:30pm on Saturday 15 January 2022, a 22yo male from Dural was involved in a collision on Hastings Rd, Castle Hill. After failing a roadside breath test, he was arrested and returned to Castle Hill Police Station.
He submitted to a breath analysis and returned a reading of 0.247. He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for High Range drink driving and other traffic offences.
About 12:40am on Monday 17 January 2022, a 45yo male from Castle Hill was found asleep in the driver’s seat of a vehicle stopped in the middle of Meryll Ave, Baulkham Hills.
The vehicle’s motor was still running. After failing a roadside breath test, he was arrested and returned to Castle Hill Police Station. He submitted to a breath analysis and returned a reading of 0.154. He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for High Range drink driving.
If you are are going to drink alcohol, please do not drive. Police will continue to target behaviour that endangers lives on the roads.
